QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
* A recognised level 7 or higher on NFQ Degree in Counselling &
Psychotherapy
* The successful candidate must be fully accredited or working
towards accreditation with the Irish Association of Counselling &
Psychotherapy (IACP), Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative
Psychotherapy (IAHIP), National Association of Professional
Counselling & Psychotherapy (NAPCP) or Irish Council of Psychotherapy
(ICP).
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
WE ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING A RELIEF SESSIONAL THERAPIST TO PROVIDE COVER
AT
THE HAVEN CLINIC CARLOW
* Work with clients ensuring a person centered,compassion focussed
non judgemental approach
* Work in accordance with the Policies, Procedures and Guidelines
set out by The Haven Clinic
* Liaise and consult with other professionals to support each client
as required
* Maintain at all times confidential and accurate records in line
with The Haven Clinic policy
* Ensure compliance with any necessary on-going psychotherapy
registration body requirements and CPD events
* Maintain professional and personal boundaries at all times
* Attend regular progress meetings with the Clinical Services Lead.
* Participate in team meetings and attend other meetings as deemed
necessary
NOTE:?Garda Vetting is required for the successful candidate.
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A CONTRACTING ROLE. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE
SOME DAY/EVENING AND SATURDAY AVAILABILITY TO WORK IN THE HAVEN CLINIC
ON A PART TIME BASIS. THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE SELF EMPLOYED,
MUST HAVE THEIR OWN INSURANCE AND REQUIRED SUPERVISION IN PLACE.
